So, you are thinking about buying your first home. Where do you start as a first time home buyer?
As a first time home buyer I was looking to buy my first home, and as you are right now, I did a lot of research for advice and tips for how to buy a house without an agent, how to get approved for mortgage credit and buy my first home quickly. Unfortunately I was not as ready as I thought when I decided to plunge in. The home deal got complicated, requirements and paperwork was not ready and this created a lot of work, headache and anxiety. By the time the home deal was done I was exhausted for months. The good news is that at the end, the deal did get done, I got the home I wanted and the home loan at the interest rate I wanted. Everything was done via email well almost everything, about 98% with the exception of having to meet inspectors and signing the final documents. Anyway the point is that now I can go thru all the communications and see where I could have improved. I compiled everything in order that I should have gone thru and made the my first time home buyer transaction almost stress free (haha, right). I’m sharing this experience with you so hopefully your transaction as a first time home buyer will go smoother than mine. I tried to make it a step by step process for you so you can understand and follow.
