How To Cut Copy And Paste.
With our how to’s people always ask how to copy and paste with keyboard. We were getting many requests such as how to copy and paste symbols, how to copy and paste text, how to copy and paste on computer and so on.
So we decided to do a how to copy and paste article.
Take your mouse, and place your cursor at the beginning of the text you want to copy and paste.
Click and hold the left mouse button while sliding your mouse over the text.
Now the text should show as being highlighted.
Now release the left mouse button.
Put the cursor over the highlighted text and right click the mouse for options, and select ‘copy’.
You have now copied the text. Now open word or your email
Right click your mouse anywhere where you wont to paste the text, and select ‘paste’ and that’s it you have learned how to copy and paste the text.
The ability to cut, copy and paste is found in most programs. But sometimes, the ability to copy and paste via the mouse is disabled. Don’t worry copy and paste can still be achieved through the use of the shortcuts like the ones below.
Cut and paste is the same as above, except you choose ‘cut’, instead of ‘copy’.
Shortcuts
To Highlight: Press ‘Ctrl’ + ‘A’.
To Copy: Highlight an area, as shown above, then hold ‘Ctrl’ + ‘C’ (For Mac users ‘Apple’ + ‘C’).
To Paste: Click your mouse where you want the text pasted, and then press ‘Ctrl’ + ‘V’ (For Mac users ‘Apple’ + ‘S’.
